Ken Gossage:
"Interim Director"

Getting to know Ken Gossage:

"I have lived in the Gainesville/Hall County area for almost 40 years with my wife Dede. We have two grown children (Walker & Daphne). They now have families of their own. They have blessed us with four wonderful grandchildren between the two families. God enabled me to have two distinct careers - one in manufacturing (25 years) and one in secondary education (15 years) and has now directed me to this opportunity at Good News at Noon. It is without a doubt the most humbling and exciting job I’ve ever had as I get to see the work of the Holy Spirit in people’s lives on a daily basis."

We feed the poor. We serve our neighbors. We provide for the least of these. We all need someone.

"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you"
~John 15:7

Do you wonder what the residents of
 Good News at Noon think about their time here?

“My Lord had a purpose in mind for me. My purpose had remained undone and incomplete. I was incomplete until He provided faith and obedience. He provided strength to step into his perfect will. Good News at Noon is where God has chosen to place me. I feel honored.”
~Neal (Resident}

Director's Thoughts

Thanks to everyone in the Good News at Noon community for your welcoming hearts and steadfast service! It doesn’t take long to notice we have a lot of helpful neighbors that are having a positive impact by building relationships within our community . In the Good Samaritan parable, Jesus juxtaposes 2 key questions with profound meaning - “who is my neighbor?” and “who is a neighbor?” At Good News at Noon, no one is asking “who is my neighbor?” because we are all practicing what it means to “be a neighbor”.
