Front Desk Representative

The front desk is a vital part of our outreach ministry. Volunteers help schedule services for clients, provide toiletries and clothing, and distribute mail. More importantly, they serve with their hearts—offering compassion, kindness, and understanding to individuals who simply need to be heard.

TRANSPORTION

Resident Transportation

As residents advance in our program, their need for transportation becomes increasingly important. From attending court dates and medical appointments to going to job interviews—and eventually commuting to work once employment is secured—reliable transportation is essential. The opportunities to serve in this area are both urgent and ongoing.

We offer many different volunteer opportunities at Good News at Noon—from food service and front desk support to mentoring, transportation, and more. PROVIDE A MEAL

Cook, Serve & Commune

Good News at Noon partners with various churches and organizations to provide two meals daily, five days a week, to members of the homeless community. This effort is a vital part of our mission to serve those in need. Ask how you can get involved and make a difference in this important outreach.

PLANT A SEED

Good News Garden Project

One of our ongoing projects at Good News at Noon is our vegetable garden. Residents and members of the outreach community learn how to plant, nurture, and harvest fresh herbs and vegetables. After the harvest, residents are also taught how to turn this bounty into healthy, nutritious meals—encouraging both wellness and self-sufficiency.
