GOOD NEWS AT NOON

DRIVE FOR GOOD

Why Donate Your Car?

As our residents begin to work off campus they are limited to finding jobs within the distance they can walk, bike, or use a portion of their paychecks for taxi fare.

Receiving a car opens up their job opportunity radius from a 1-or 2-mile radius to basically all of Hall County! This presents hundreds of new job opportunities.

Donating a car at first might sound like a huge sacrifice, and it is. But maybe you are ready to upgrade your vehicle and know you won't be reimbursed properly for your older model trade in. Or some of us may have aging parents or grandparents who no longer drive, and their car is sitting unused in the garage. You can turn that used car into one of the most life-changing gifts for someone's future. And it is a complete tax write off!

Doris was our very first resident to receive a car!
Doris is now a program graduate and she was able to take the money saved on taxi fares and put it toward furnishing her new residence.
