Good News at Noon Fall Newsletter

As summer turns into fall and we begin to see God's creation come alive with brilliant

fall colors, it is a reminder that winter is around the corner. Life is like the seasons of the

year. I can dread change or embrace it with excitement knowing that God is in control. As I

look back over this year, I can see that we as a ministry have experienced many changes

which has allowed us to see God's goodness and faithfulness.

Because of God's faithfulness and your partnership, Good News at Noon is growing and impacting more lives with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Transformational Life

Program is growing and changing lives. Our residents live on campus and go through a

12 to18 month program that helps those who are readyforchangeto begin the journey of

rebuilding their lives on the strong foundation of Jesus. This year, 11 of our residents have

completed the program and have graduated. They are no longer just surviving life but are

beginning to thrive.

I am excited to announce that God is opening an opportunity for Good News to begin a women's campus. This will allow us to have a safe environmentfbrwomen coming out of

homelessness, brokenness, addictions and abuse and begin theirjourneyto restoration. I

know this is the heart of our Heavenly Father, and he will supply the finances and

personnel needed to make this dream a reality. This will also allow Good News to grow the

men's part of the program through our aftercare program and allow us to reach more men

here at our existing campus.

We also have a vision to open the Good News Thrift Store. This will help give our

residents job training and work skills that will be beneficial for them when they begin

working. The Thrift Store will also create revenue to help support Good News at Noon to

continue bringing hope to the hopeless. Through our Outreach Ministry we show God's love

to the homeless community by providing a shower, clothing, laundry and a hot meal with

the goal of creating an opportunity to help them begin their journey out of poverty and

hopelessness to a life of purpose.

We are so grateful to you, our partners. We cannot do all that we do without your support. Please continue to pray for our team, residents, and community. We are in spiritual

warfare for the lives of those that are lost. As you pray, chains of addiction are broken, and

lost lives are healed and transformed. Thank you for being a part of the Good News Team

through volunteering. We cannot do what we do without you. We love and appreciate our

volunteers!

I want to say thank you to all who partner with Good News financially. Through you God

supplies our financial needs so that we can continue to see lives transformed through His amazing love. As we grow our budget grows as well. I ask that you pray about how God

wants you to give "unto the least of these". Together we can and will continue to see lives

transformed, one person at a time. God is doing amazing things here at Good News at

Noon and as change happens, I look forward with expectation to what he is going to do

next.

Sincerely,

Steven Nissley
